Myles Barcomb is a singer-songriter from Minot, North Dakota. He has been a staple in the Minot music scene for 17 years running, becoming a hidden gem in rural North Dakota. After years of honing his craft, playing gigs, raising kids, working and building up a huge catalog of songs, he is ready to share his music with the world outside of his small hometown. Myles has diverse influences from Soul, Rock, Bluegrass, Indie, Blues and Classic Country. His style may be summed up as Americana Soul - a cross between Neil Young, Jeff Tweedy, Steven Tyler and Sam Cooke. His songs are introspective dives into love, pain, hard truths, the underlying motivations of the human heart, lessons learned and lessons yet to be learned. His one-man-band solo style playing guitar, kick drum, harmonica and singing a broad spectrum of music has taught him how to move a crowd and he loves the challenge of taking requests from the audience.
Myles plays regular spots at Ebeneezer’s Irish Pub in Minot going on 15 years; hosting Open Mic’s, playing solo gigs and playing with several bands in the area averaging 3 shows a week. He is currently frontman of “Myles Barcomb and The Sweet Dreams”, co-host/writer/producer/music director of a local Late Night Show called “Good Night Live! with Jake Thrailkill”and bass player/singer with “Moments Notice”. He has played at bars, conventions, theaters, parks, parties and festivals including The Norsk Hostfest and Sturgis. Several of his songs were featured in a film made about North Dakota called “Last Summer for Boys.” “Henhouse”, his first album - which he recorded in Nashville, is available now!
